Chocolate cupcakes with Matcha Cream Cheese Frosting

Recipe uses Thermomix
Prep time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 30 mins including baking time
Total: 40 mins
Ingredients
Chocolate Cupcakes
25g Cocoa Powder
150g Cake Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
75g Butter, cut into cube
80g Sugar
175g Milk
1 Egg
Pinch of salt
Matcha Cream Cheese Frosting
5g YURI / Matcha Powder
25g Butter
125g Cream Cheese
90g Confectioner’s sugar
Method For Chocolate Cupcake
- Preheat oven to 180C. Sift cake flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and put aside.
- Melt butter at Thermomix bowl for 1 minutes / 50C / Speed 1
- Add in sugar, 15 seconds, speed 6
- Add egg and milk, 20 seconds, speed 3, mix well.
Method For Matcha Buttercream Frosting
- Mix everything for 30 sec, speed 4.
- Transfer to piping bag, use your favourite nozzle to frost and decorate at your preference.
