Houjicha Berry Bowl

Recipe makes 1 serving

Ingredients
50g oats soaked in 125ml water
125ml milk of your choice
1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
1 - 2 tsp TSUBAKI / Houjicha powder
Toppings:
Sliced strawberries, blueberries and bananas
Dollop of nut butter/greek yogurt
1 tbsp berry compote/ jam
2 tbsp granola
Method To Assemble
- Once the oats have soaked in the water for for 20 minutes, add to a saucepan with the milk over low to medium heat.
- Add the houjicha powder and maple syrup (optional), and stir until the mixture comes together, making sure the houjicha powder is incorporated well.
- Take off the heat and transfer into a bowl.
- Serve topped with toppings of your choice, such as sliced fruit, yogurt, jam, nut butter and granola!
