Matcha Strawberry Strudel

Recipe makes 3 servings.

Ingredients
1 pack frozen puff pastry
2 tsp AJISAI / Matcha Powder
25ml hot water
100g whipping cream
100g mascarpone cheese
40g icing sugar

Method To Assemble
- Roll the puff pastry into 2-3 mm thick, cut it into the rectangle size 4 x 10cm.
- Lay the puff pastry dough on the tray, dust some icing sugar to the puff pastry dough.
- 180c degree, bake for 20 – 25 minutes.
- Let it cool on the rack.
- Mix AJISAI / Matcha powder with hot water; make sure to mix it until smooth and no lumps like matcha sauce.
- Whisk the whipping cream into nice and thick texture.
- Add in mascarpone cheese and icing sugar , mixed well.
- Lastly add in matcha sauce and mixed well.
- Load up the cream into a piping bag, twist the bag slowly where the bag is full and firm. Chill your cream into the fridge until you are ready to pipe it.
- Cut the strawberries into small cube.
- Pipe the cream nice and slowly on the puff pastry, put some strawberries cube on the middle of the cream.
- Layer the 2nd piece of the puff pastry on top, continue to pipe the cream and lastly decorate with strawberries on top. Done and enjoy!
