RECIPE
Matcha Christmas Cookies

Ingredients
Prep time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 1 hr 30 mins
Baking time 15-18 mins
100g unsalted butter (room temperature)
55g powder sugar/icing sugar
4g YURI / Matcha powder
1 egg yolk
130g cake flour
35g ground almonds
Method To Assemble
- Mix powder sugar and matcha power in a bowl, set aside.
- Soften unsalted butter and add step 1 (powder sugar+matcha powder), use spatula to combine well then add 1 egg yolk, continue mix it.
- Add sifted cake flour and ground almond powder, mix and combine well, wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough flat or thickness as you prefer, use cookie cutter to make any shape (eg. Christmas tree, snowman, star etc).
- Preheat oven in advance and bake at 170C for 15 - 18 mins.
